About Uptime Institute

Corporate Logo

Our logo is the key visual element that identifies us. Both our company name and the structure of the logo itself have a fixed relationship and neither should be changed in any way.

Logo Construction, Clearance and Computation

It is important to keep our logo clear of any other graphic elements. To regulate this, an exclusion zone has been established around it that indicates the closest any other graphic element or message can be positioned in relation to our logo.

Full Logo

Whenever you use the logo, it should be surrounded with clear space to ensure its visibility and impact. No graphic elements of any kind should enter the exclusion zone.

To work out the exclusion zone, take the height of the “U” from “Uptime” in the logo text and measure from the border of the logo. Imagine drawing a square around the outermost edge of the logo: touching the top of the “t”, the right side of the copyright symbol, the bottom of “Institute” and the left of the “U”. Next, measure from the outside of this square the height of the “U”. This is the exclusion zone.

Corporate Color System

Color plays an important role in Uptime Institute’s corporate identity. The primary Uptime Institute palette, and primary color of our logo, is blue, but we also have a brighter, more saturated range, strong complimentary colors with the addition of green, purple and orange. Below are the blues from our primary colors:

Consistent use of these colors will contribute to the cohesive and harmonious look of the Uptime Institute brand identity across all relevant media. Check with your designer or printer when using the corporate colors so that they are always consistent.
